Lunar Maps
Here's an interesting conversation on the Google Lunar X PRIZE Forums on lunar mapping. Mike Fabio from the X PRIZE Foundation mentions some Google Moon work they're doing. Phil Stooke describes why lunar mapping is changing, and what to look out for during landing (not necessarily boulders as the first concern). He also gives some links to new lunar maps. Phil is working on a close-up map of the "busy" area.
