The Mars Society posts about a
model rocket contest for kids. You can set up a local contest using the guidelines just linked. (Note: for some reason I couldn't use the Mars Society link directly, but the URL seems to work just find here and when pasted into my browser address bar - so try one of these if the direct one doesn't work). The winners of the local contests go to a national contest at the
